The ones that got away.

An anonymous tip in the comments led to the Angryteen blog, which has just started up.

Apparently it's run by two teenagers. If that's true, they've escaped the Ballsification of the education system and are thinking for themselves.

So there is hope.

Meh. I'm 19 and came from a state comprehensive. My privately educated friend believes "it's one's duty to maintain the state through taxation".

Or they weren't educated here....

I must give that site a closer look sometime.

I must admit, I have learnt that it definitely depends on the "teens" parents attitude. My two daughters have a similar political outlook as mine.

Both my parents of public sector lefties. My dad was part of the CND and whatnot.

I guess I'm just aggressively idiosyncratic.

I can't argue politics with my mom because whenever I state an objective opinion about government policy or whatnot, if she doesn't agree she takes it as a personal attack.

;Facepalm.;

Pavlov=s Dalek - Most of those Labourites seem to have come from private education. Maybe the attitude of many of them will change when they find out who's paying for who...

My father was a committed Labour voter right up until his constituency MP became... Neil Kinnock. He knew the Kinnock and had a long and somewhat blue tirade at the time.

I don't think he's voted at all since.
