The Fabulous Bingo Brothers.

The last foray into Rutland Weekend television reminded me just how funny some of it was. So here's a bit more for a laugh.

The last line cracked me up. I'm not saying why.

This is magical. I'm just young enough to remember the Goon Show, Arthur Askey, Laurel and Hardy etc. Today's kids are missing out. Comes from a time when we had to make our own entertainment. Now we just expect it to be laid on for us.

Actually, this skit is from the era of Monty Python, not the Goon Show (perhaps I'm not as old as I feel!). But even so, comes from a time when there was real talent and wit on the telly. Doubt the x-box generation would appreciate it now. Too indoctrinated by Simon Cowell etc. Which reminds me...

What happened to all those black bands from the 60s and 70s? The Detroit Spinners, the Stylistics, the Three Degrees...

Anybody'd think black singers have emigrated to look at the Top Twenty now.

Paul - The last line is -

'Ain't you mad you can't get at it?'

'Mother's sewn me drawers up'.

£60a week - it's one of the shows spawned by the Pythons, in this case with one of the Bonzos.

We will never see their like again.

It wouldn't play for me, but since you posted the last one, I've been trawling through the other RWT clips on YouTube and loving them. Eric was always my favourite Python, and the other guys in RWT are great too.
