Coming up to a year of the Cleggeron Coagulation and they still haven't brought back the death penalty. Or was it a repeal of the smoking ban? Somehow they had managed to make one dependent on the other. That cast-iron guarantee of a vote on the EU has also turned into a cast-lead guarantee that there won't be one. They have memories that would exasperate a goldfish. Sometimes I think you could machine-gun a politician's head and still miss his brain.
I wanted to compile a list of the feeble U-turns and embarrassing gaffes this government have so far performed, but Munguin's Republic already has. So that saved me a post.
They make the last lot look... well, pretty much the same.

Makes me proud to have not voted Conservative and to have helped UKIP campaign here.
I'd vote UKIP here if there's one around.
Currently I'm building up an anti-campaign for the Scottish elections. It won't change things here, this is Salmond country, but I'll at least try to make a dent.
