Meddle

I have been meddling, as you see. Now I have the new Blogger interface and it takes a little getting used to. Next step is to install the comment gadget but I think I'd better find my way around this new layout first.

    I need a smokier background picture. Apparently I can now install one myself so I'll look into that.

    Then I'll put the 'seventy-third hand smoke' warning right at the bottom.

    I just followed your link to the anti smoking site. According to their figures 18.3% of the annual deaths in the USA are smoking related. I believe the overall smoking rate in America is estimated as between 25 and 30%. Does this mean that non-smokers are more likely to die in any given year than smokers?

    I'd recommend that a serious blogger like yourself should have their blog on it's own domain and away from the awful Blogger platform. It's easy and inexpensive and you'd be able to use the fantastic WordPress software to boot.

This blog has moved to the new place, see link at the top of the main page. Comments are still allowed but moderation is on so I don't have to keep coming back to kill spambots and trolls.
