Whoops.

Automated websites are great, aren't they?

This automated website automatically put this post on its front page.

To which I can only respond -

You wouldn't by any chance be planning to do more posts with titles that might get picked up would you? That wouldn't be fair.

it's because of this.

-quite impressive to make it to a google search result first page, people usually have to pay a lot of money to end up there - or have very good content. B)

Sadly they have removed the link now but it does seem a rather good idea right up there with the voting for Junican in the BMJ poll. Just going back to that thread, I think it exposed one of the worst prohibitionist loonies out there in the form of one Dr Terence Gerace. This truly sick and twisted puppy has co-opted his family and runs a mom and pop business essentially writing hate mail to anyone remotely connected to the tobacco industry and I guess anyone who opposes his extremist views. His website welcomes critical feedback so feel free to fire away at:

Neatly done, Leg Iron. Another embarrassment for them.

Odd. I have just this minute checked the site and the link is still there.

Oh, I didn't do it. They linked to it themselves. Automatically, I suspect, which might mean that even if they take it down, their autobots might just put it back in again.

I spotted them in the 'referrals' part of the stats, which means several people visiting their site must have clicked on the link.

Better be careful. I'm starting to laugh like the Joker in real life!

And I have a sudden urge to buy face paints and green hair dye...

A few months ago I saw in a blog (I don't know if it was yours, L-I) about raised levels of cotinine in bar staff. Something niggled at the back of my mind and I couldn't work out was it was. Until now.

Fancy a crisp?
